Our Classes

The preschool uses Frogstreet Press Inc and ABC Jesus Loves Me curriculum.  Each curriculum is high quality, and age-appropriate that is aligned to state and national standards.

Frog Street, as an early childhood education company, focuses on helping to guide our generation of children to success through research-based curriculum, digital resources, and offers professional development for early childhood educators.  It also integrates our instruction with all the key developmental domains of early childhood education.

ABC Jesus Loves Me uses five comprehensive, research-based curricula that focuses on academics, development, and Bible learning through play.  Their core bible verse is:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Deuteronomy 6:5-7

 Standards of Excellence:

The preschool has a certification in the Texas Rising Star program through the Texas Workforce Commission.  The certification offers different levels of certification, which the preschool has been at the highest Four-star level since 2016.

*To further our standards, the preschool board requires that each lead or co-lead teacher has a degree or is credentialed with a Child Development Associate (CDA).

FUMC also offers programs to further enrich your child’s learning.
