Dear Friends and Families,

Welcome to First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Preschool. My name is Jennifer McCormack and I am blessed to be the Director. I must say, I love this Preschool and have very fond memories of working here and of my two children growing up here. I am a member of this church as well, and raised my children here. My husband, Max, of 30 years and my two grown children, Guy and Sarah, are an amazing support group along with my church family.

I worked in public school for 35 years and wore many hats during that time. I taught every grade level through sixth in regular education and taught special education at every level. I have many certifications, as well as a Master’s Degree in Behavior Management and Administration, and I served as Assistant Principal at Rusk Elementary before retiring. I just wasn’t ready to stop serving, so I’m excited for this adventure.

FUMC Preschool is dedicated to engaging students in a lifelong love of learning. We were founded in 1988 and have maintained a standard of excellence throughout the years. We strive to develop a strong foundation of faith, self-esteem, self-control, independence, and moral decision making in our students. FUMC Preschool welcomes you to our family and looks forward to serving you.
